Advent 2017 Calendar
“Come and set us free.”
These words will lead Mass each Sunday during Advent as we begin a new liturgical year for the Church.
Advent is a time to prepare the way for the Lord, especially our hearts and minds. Leading up to the celebration of Christmas, there are a number of events at Corpus Christi and in our deanery during the next few weeks that will help you do just that.
“Awaken our hearts to the power of your love. Awaken our hearts to your mercy. Free us, O Lord, from the power of sin. Set us free.”
We invite you to mark your calendar and join us.

December 24th Masses:
It will be the norm in the Diocese of Toledo that the two obligations to participate at Mass are not fulfilled by the participation at one Christmas Vigil Mass. Rather, the faithful, to fulfill both obligations, are to attend a Mass celebrated for the Fourth Sunday of Advent, and at a Mass celebrated for the Solemnity of the Nativity of the Lord.
New Year’s Day
Monday, January 1st is not a Holy Day of Obligation because it falls on a Monday this year. However, if you would like to attend Mass, Most Blessed Sacrament Parish is offering a Mass at 10 a.m. that day.
