Summer Mass Times

11 a.m. Mass
Friends, after requesting your input on an earlier Mass time on Sunday morning for the summer months, the large majority that reached out to me were in favor of such a change. A smaller group preferred for it to remain the same or move to 10 a.m. as had been done in the past. Given this feedback, I’ve decided on the following:
Mass will remain at 11 a.m. each summer until the Feast of Corpus Christi and then switch to 9 a.m. until August when it will return to 11 a.m. to prepare for fall semester. The Feast of Corpus Christi moves each year based on Easter, but it will always fall sometime in late May or early to mid June. This year it is on June 11th. Thus, the schedule for this summer will be as follows:
Now until June 11 – 11 a.m. Mass
June 18 – July 30 – 9 a.m. Mass
August 6 – school year – 11 a.m. Mass
4:30 p.m. Mass
Mass on Saturday evening will remain at 4:30 p.m. all year round. In the summer months, as over Christmas break, it will only have a small amount of a capella music led by the presider.
I know some will be disappointed with this decision while others will welcome it. This issue has come up quite a bit every summer I’ve been here, so I’m hoping this can serve as a happy medium for years to come.

Daily Mass
Masses for the summer are on Wednesday and Friday at 12:05 p.m.
There will be NO MONDAY MASS from May 8 until August 28.
The following dates we will not have daily Mass:
- May 10, 12
- May 17, 19
- June 14, 16
- July 5, 7
- August 2, 4
Our regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday Daily Mass Schedule will resume August 28.
